Amazing People in Birch Class

This week in Birch Class, we have been continuing our topic in English of Amazing People. This week we have been looking at a different amazing person each day with people including Walt Disney, Jessie Owens and Michelangelo.

We had debates about how Walt Disney was an amazing person, and when it came to learning about Michelangelo we decided to put our perseverance to the test and get inspired by his incredible artwork on the celling of the Sistine Chapel in Rome. We all taped images we were going to draw under our tables and followed in the footsteps of Michelangelo and drew our image laying on our backs. This really tested our perseverance and proved we are all amazing people in Birch Class!
