What a Load of Rubbish!

Pine Class have been learning about Recycling this week! As part of our science topic, we talked about where of the materials that could have been recycled end up if thrown into normal bins.

Did you know, there are 8 massive piles of litter, floating all around the world? This is caused by most litter that is thrown into a stream of water, always takes the same direction and eventually ends up trapped in this pile.

As you can see from the photos taken, Pine class were asked to assign their waste into 4 separate bins. Paper, Glass, Plastic and Metal, and they done brilliantly! Well Done Pine Class!
