An Artist from Washington Arts Centre Visits Willow Class for a Special Art Lesson

An artist from Washington Arts Centre visited our school this week. Willow Class had the amazing opportunity to have a lesson on Character illustration. She brought a book in that she had written herself and created all the characters herself. She showed the class the book and read parts out. She asked our class to invent their own characters and draw them. She was pleasantly surprised at the high standard of drawing in our group. She was very motivational, the class were very engaged and enthusiastic throughout the lesson.
