Astronaut Week in Blue Class

This week we have been learning about astronauts. Blue Class participated in an Attention Autism session where they observed space bubbles, aliens and a space helicopter. They were able to engage and pay attention at the cause and effect toys. Some of the pupils dressed up as astronauts wearing space boots and a space hat. Children observed how the 5 little astronauts were covering using a flour shaking technique. We then sang 5 Little Astronauts Jumping on the Moon song. During one of our topic session we pretended to be astronauts eating and tasting some astronaut food. We then went to the sensory room were we interacted with an astronaut interactive game and we pretended to be astronauts crawling into the space tunnel. We have enjoyed our astronaut week in Blue Class.
