Explore Pathway Play Football Tournament at John Spence School

On Wednesday 1st April some of the pupils on the Engage Pathway were invited to take part in a fantastic football event hosted at John Spence School. Each of the pupils put in a tremendous effort on the pitch was filled with energy, determination and, most importantly, smiles.

The teams showed outstanding teamwork, supporting one another, communicating brilliantly, and celebrating every success together. Even when the games became challenging, the pupils demonstrated impressive resilience, never giving up and always bouncing back with a positive attitude. There were some truly spectacular goals scored throughout the day, with cheers ringing around the pitch as players showcased their growing confidence and skill. But beyond the goals, what stood out most was the spirit of sportsmanship on display—handshakes, encouragement, and so much fun.

The pupils left proud, excited, sporting their medals. They are already looking forward to the next opportunity to get back out on the pitch. A huge well done to everyone involved including the staff - what a brilliant day for our Engage Pathway superstars.
