As part of their Science and Careers topic, Ash Class spent a full day visiting local farms.

The pupils began their morning at Ouseburn Farm, where they had the chance to stroke lambs, a cow, sheep, goats, and some very fluffy guinea pigs. After a busy morning with the animals, they stopped for dinner before heading over to Bill Quay Farm.

At Bill Quay, the pupils enjoyed a guided tour around the farm and took part in the Gruffalo Trail. They then did some more exploring, fed lots of animals, and learnt even more about life on the farm.

Everyone finished the day with a well‑deserved ice cream — the perfect end to a fantastic trip!
