Making Fantasy Animals

Last week, the pupils in Birch Class used modelling clay to create their own fantasy animal. They had previously created their own animals by merging two or three animals together. When the animals dry, they will paint them and finish the project. It's been a fun topic and the pupils have really enjoyed the process.

They also enjoyed their last Birch coffee morning for our Duke of Edinburgh volunteering section. This has been a huge success and it has been a joy to see the pupils grow in confidence. The coffee mornings started out tentative and they were a little nervous. By last week everyone was able to prepare, take orders, make the coffee and take money completely independently.
