Wonderful Whiitley Bay

This week, Pine Class took a trip to Whitley Bay. Firstly, the pupils all took a walk to the lighthouse where they had a fabulous view of the seals in their natural habitat. Next, they went for a look at the rocks on the neighbouring beach where they investigated small creatures and plant life.

For lunch the pupils ventured to the local shops where the pupils, as part of community inclusion were able to choose and pay for their lunches independently. After lunch as part of the Horticulture topic they took a small walk in a woodland area where they found plants and flowers. To end the day, they had Italian ice cream and a visit to a beautiful local church.
