Busy Birchy Bears
Return to Latest News
Last week Birch Class enjoyed lots of different activities for World Book Day. The pupils went into different classes and enjoyed practising tongue twisters and creating some lovely art work. One of the activities was to create their own personalised bears.
As the last class assembly was a story about 'The Birchy Bears' (written by Faz), they pupils stuck to the same theme and each pupil created their own bear with personal qualities and attributes. They also enjoyed visiting Morrisons each week this half term as their community inclusion and Duke of Edinburgh skills section.
In Science, they are learning about horticulture and planted some sunflower and onion seeds, which they are watering daily and looking forward to seeing the plants grow. It's been a busy few weeks for Birch Class.
