Day Out in Durham

Ash Class enjoyed a fantastic day in Durham as part of their Careers topic. The pupils visited Pizza Express to get a real insight into what it takes to run a restaurant. They put on the proper chef clothing, washed their hands, prepared their dough, added their toppings, and waited excitedly for their pizzas to come out of the oven—before tucking into them. They were delicious.

After lunch, they spent time exploring the beautiful city of Durham. The pupils admired Durham Cathedral, browsed the shops, and enjoyed a peaceful walk along the river. It was a wonderful day of learning, exploring, and making memories outside the classroom
