As part of their space topic, Tiger Class visited the Hancock Museum in Newcastle. The pupils visited the Planetarium, where they took a tour of the solar system, and then travelled on a spacecraft to the European Southern Observatory’s large telescope. They then viewed the stars in the night sky, before lifting off into space to visit the Earth, Moon, Sun, and all the planets of the solar system.

Everyone then took a walk through the museum, where they saw dinosaurs, fossils, hidden treasures and Roman exhibitions.
