In Oak Class, the pupils had a fantastic Science lesson. They continued on with the subject of 'states of matter', where they answered questions on the changes of matter from each state, as well as making their own oobleck gloop. The pupils used cornflour and water and mixed it together in a bowl. The gloop is a mixture of a solid and a liquid, where the more force they put into it, the more solid it would be, but if they moved it gently and softly, then it turns into a liquid.
The whole class was amazed at how quickly it could change forms and had lots of fun playing with them. To finish the lesson, they made their own flavoured ice pops, which is another perfect example of changes of matter. The class was excited to have them.
All of the Oak Class staff were very proud of the pupils at how much they have been involved in Science and remembering all of the learning that they have been doing this half term.
