Return of the Wellbeing Warriors 2025/26
Return to Latest News
The Wellbeing Warriors are back in action and are so excited to be starting up again for this year. From September the Wellbeing Warriors have been planning more exciting activities for everyone to take part in where they have been following the 'The 5 ways to wellbeing area' and hopefully we will be seeing the return of the hidden ducks, but maybe in a different type of animal, bird or insect.
In addition to this, the girls had more exciting news, which was that the group had recruited a new member to the team, Esmee, who will bring such a wonderful support network to all of the wonderful things that have been planned.
There has been lots of planning during the months of September and October where the Wellbeing Warriors had decided that they would like to bring the suggestions box out ready in preparation for the 'keep learning' area and had placed it in the ICT suite for everyone. The girls are hoping for lots of lovely ideas from the students about what they would like to learn more about.
The first challenges were to be involved in the act of 'Give'. Seeing these challenges out from the 3rd of November and being spread over a the next half term period. This involved tidying a room in school, or giving a helping hand to everyone at Harraton.
In addition to this, the girls decided that they would like to give out certificates again to show the hard work and dedication that any students or staff have completed involving the act of 'Give'.
The first are of 'Give' has been a huge hit and the Wellbeing Warriors are extremely proud of everyone who has took part so far! In the Discover special Christmas assembly, one student was given the overall Wellbeing Warriors award for this half term due to his kind and generous gestures that he had shown to other students and staff. Well done Joey you are a real credit to Harry Watts Academy in the Discover pathway, and everyone is proud of your hard work.
After our Christmas break the Wellbeing Warriors will begin their new challenges for 'take notice' and will keep you updated.
Keep a look for more exciting news!
