Thanking St George's Care Home

This week, some pupils from Birch Class had a walk to St George's care home to deliver a thank you card and some homemade baubles. On Tuesday, while out on a photography walk, a pupil came across a beautifully wrapped 'free book' sitting on a tree. They read the label, and it informed them that St George's care home wraps and hides books around the local community for children to find and take home during the festive period.

The book they found was 'Matilda' by Roald Dahl and was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the staff and residents of St George's care home for bringing joy and smiles to the pupils this Christmas.
