Harry Watts Academy at Harraton Attend the Wanderers Basketball Tournament

Last week, Harry Watts Academy at Harraton had the opportunity to attend the Wanderers basketball tournament at the Vertu Arena in Newcastle, which is the home of the Newcastle Eagles basketball team.

They took the Key Stage Four pupils who played against nine other schools, and it was a fantastic opportunity for them to experience playing in such a fantastic setting with so many schools. The pupils were brilliant, and the amount of people there, as well as the size of the arena, did not phase them.

Everyone also had the chance to watch the Newcastle Eagles practice. The pupils were all awarded medals at the end. Well done, Harry Watts Academy.
