Last week, Pine Class visited the Winter Gardens in Sunderland. As part of their Duke of Edinburgh award, the pupils are studying a local history topic of their choice. The pupils were able to find lots of information relating to their topic.

Afterwards, they all went to Mowbray Park for lunch, where they were joined by lots of feathered friends. Finally, they visited the Donnison Girls' school, which was set up for girls from the workhouse in the 1700s. There were lots of interesting facts to hear. Everyone had a fabulous day.
