Elm Class decided that they would like to volunteer to improve areas of school.

The pupils worked in groups to identify where the school needs to be refreshed, such as the fences around the playground, plant pots, and signage. As a class, they then created a larger mind map to collate all of their findings and ideas.

During their discussions, they came to the agreement that the school fence is desperate to be painted, so they set about designing some possible colour choices to brighten it up. They then presented their designs to Catherine to ask for her opinions on their proposal. She agreed that it would be a fabulous idea and chose a design that she thought stood out as a great fence design.
