Visit to the Discovery Museum

Last week, Oak Class embarked on a trip to the Discovery Museum in Newcastle, where they explored the Science Maze as part of their past and upcoming Science lessons around push and pull experiments. While they were there, Oak Class were able to explore the Great Fire of Newcastle in connection with their Humanities lessons around the Great Fire of London.

The pupils recognised the differences between the two and found out the impact of both of these tragic incidents. They listened and showed great kindness towards each other while on their trip, being a real credit to Harry Watts Academy.

What a fabulous morning Oak Class had, finding out the wonderful history that our country has.
