Harry Watts Academy Host their Funday

This week, Harry Watts Academy hosted their annual Funday. They were joined by three schools: two from the Trust, Thomas Bewick School and Gilbert Ward Academy, and their good friends at Hilltop.

The pupils had a fantastic day playing football and hockey games. There was a refreshment stall, and they finished the day with team photos alongside a confetti cannon fired above, as well as a trophy being awarded.

During the day, the pupils had lots of time to socialise with one another, and had lunch on the school field together. Once the other schools left, all of the pupils went to the school field to form a guard of honour for the Year 11 pupils, who will be the very first leavers.
