On Tuesday, Cedar Class pupils and staff embarked on their last trip of the year to South Shields beach, and what a day it was.

The pupils started their day by arriving at the beach, where they had a paddle in the shallow water, jumping over the calm waves, building sandcastles, and making their own water pool. One pupil even decided that everyone should dance in the water pool, which was great fun.

Other pupils wanted to explore the sand dunes that were quite high up. Adam was extremely brave. They then went off and had some lunch; it was so nice to sit together and enjoy some lovely social time. After this, Cedar Class went to the park, where there was time to climb to the very top of the climbing frame, spin on the roundabout cup, and walk on the swinging beam.

Then it was time for a treat, where we all thoroughly enjoyed a nice cool ice cream. What a way to end the best year in Cedar Class with memories to last forever.

Everyone agreed that today was one of the best days that they had spent together. Cedar Class 2025/25 rock!
