Elm Class Duke of Edinburgh Expedition 2025
Return to Latest News
Last week, Elm Class had a fabulous time on their expedition. Upon arriving at school, everyone got straight down to making packed lunches for the day before heading off to their first activity, which was canoeing. The pupils all got involved and had a great time.
They then headed to the campsite where they set up the tents. All of the practice came in handy and they were very competent in the setting up of the tents and blowing up all of the air beds. Then they made our first meal on the camping stoves, and it was a lovely sunny day which made everything easier.
The second day they went on another walking expedition, but had plenty of breaks and everyone did really well. Next, they headed down to the beach before returning to the campsite, where they made their second meal on the camp stoves and later had a nighttime walk to see the sunset. On returning to the campsite, everyone had a lovely takeaway. On the last day, the pupils had their final walking expedition once again before packing up to return home. All the pupils will have amazing memories to look back on.
