Sun, Sea and Ice-Cream

This week, Maple Class had a class trip to South Shields' beach and park. Firstly, the pupils headed to the beach, and some of them took great delight in taking off their socks and shoes for a paddle at the water’s edge, including some of the staff. They then built sandcastles, dug holes, and even buried one of the pupils with sand much to his delight.

At lunchtime, with a sea air appetite, they all had some yummy chips from the fish shop. In the afternoon, everyone ventured to the park where they had an amazing time on the play equipment. Finally, it was ice-creams all around to end the perfect day.
