Elm Class Reach for the Stars

This week in Elm Class, we finished our Science topic ‘Space’ - with a fantastic double Science lesson.
For the first lesson, we gathered the planets we had made with papier-mâché and balloons and tried to arrange them next to a large yellow sun. It was a little tricky as the wind kept blowing the planets away, but we persevered and succeeded - the wind is no match for Elm Class persistence.
For our second lesson, we had a great game of shooting a small rocket into the sky. It was so much fun seeing who could shoot it the highest, and of course, the staff had to join in and have a go. It was a fabulous day and a great way to end the topic.
