Last week, Birch Class went onto the school field to practise putting up their tents in preparation for their upcoming Duke of Edinburgh trip. It was the first time most of the pupils had ever put up a tent, and it went very well. They worked together in small teams and successfully assembled them in record time.
After dismantling the tents, they found that the most difficult part was fitting the tents back into the bag. Well done Birch Class! They will all be skilled campers by their June expedition.
