Visit to St Mary's Lighthouse and Whitley Bay

This week, Willow Class visited Whitley Bay and walked along to St Mary's Lighthouse. The pupils also visited the old Spanish City site; the building was old and beautiful and the staff discussed with the pupils what it used to be. They couldn’t believe that it used to be an indoor fair with big rides in it.

Then, the pupils had their packed lunches and some also bought chips and drinks. They had time to visit a local park before returning back to school. Everyone had a great day out.
