Willow Class Create a Digestive System in their Science Lesson

This week Willow Class were learning about the digestive system in the human body. They learned all of the different organs that make up the digestive system and how they worked. They made a digestive system to see how the body breaks down food and use the nutrients. They mashed up food and put it through the digestive system. Some of the students found the faeces part of the experiment both funny and sickly when running the mashed food through the tights (intestines). The students found the lesson was very interesting and informative.
