Caterpillars in Green Class

This half term, Green Class have watched the life cycle of caterpillars. The caterpillars arrived in the first week of term and children enjoyed watching them grow from 7mm up to 50mm before watching them turn into cocoons. We watched with anticipation each day and after the weekend we have had 3 orange and black butterflies hatch. Children have enjoyed watching them flap their wings and imitating their movements. We will be releasing them this this week into the wild.
