This week in Geography, Leopard Class learnt about dinosaurs and fossils from a long time ago and that the name of a person who does this as a job is called a palaeontologist. Their job is to study remains, such as bones, teeth, shells and plant matter to help us learn more about them.
Leopard Class had the opportunity to create their own dinosaur fossils using salt dough that they made themselves with flour, salt and water. Once the dough was prepared, the pupils pressed in a toy dinosaur so that they could see all of the different shapes and makes made on the imprint.
It was lots of fun!
