Amazing Week in Oak Class

What a wonderful end to Autumn 1 for Oak Class pupils and staff.

What a fantastic week everyone has had. Everyone has been fully immersed in their learning, trying new things, working together and, most importantly, creating some wonderful new memories along the way.

They started the week with an exciting English activity, where the pupils created their very own Halloween comic strips. They used their imaginations to think about all the magical and spooky things that could happen. The creativity and ideas were fantastic!

On Wednesday, everyone became chefs and made their own pitta pizzas. The pupils demonstrated fantastic listening and organisational skills and worked brilliantly as a team. They certainly enjoyed tasting their delicious creations too.

Thursday was filled with lots of fun as everyone took part in a wonderful drumming session. It was fantastic to see the pupils exploring the different sounds and rhythms they could create. Then, as if that wasn't enough, they also had time to make some delicious cornflake cakes.

The week was ended with a fabulous Spooky Friday. Everyone looked amazing dressed up in all sorts of wonderful costumes, followed by a brilliant Halloween disco full of dancing, fun and laughter. Then to finish off the day, everyone enjoyed a lovely, relaxing Golden Time.

By the end of the week, everyone was absolutely exhausted, but still full of smiles.

What an amazing first half term Oak Class have had.

The Oak Class staff team are extremely proud of every single student and everything they have achieved this half term. Their enthusiasm, resilience, teamwork and willingness to try new experiences has been fantastic to see.

Well done, Oak Class! What a wonderful half term.
