Souter Lighthouse and Roker

Pine Class embarked on their first trip of the year to Souter lighthouse and Roker Beach. In Humanities, they are researching local landmarks, which includes Souter. The pupils had a fantastic time at the lighthouse, where they were lucky enough to have a guided tour. They heard lots of interesting facts and also climbed to the top where they enjoyed spectacular views.

At lunchtime, Pine Class went to Roker Beach where they ate their lunch taking in the sea air. To end the trip, the pupils enjoyed time in Roker Park play area. Everyone had a fantastic time.
