Outstanding First Week for Oak Class

Oak Class pupils and staff have settled extremely well into their new class and routines. There have been some wonderful new friendships created and some wonderful summer news shared. They have enjoyed making their own class rules and signed their very own contracts, stating rules that involve being kind to one another, trying their best and taking care of the classroom and school environment.

They have enjoyed taking part in their morning check ins and sharing how they are feeling on the zones of regulations display (lots of hearts meaning being in a good place, ready to learn).

The pupils also experienced their first lunchtime clubs, which involved singing club and teddy bear club. They also enjoyed their first assembly, where all of the Discover pathway came together and even had their first Friday Golden Time.

What a wonderful start together they have had. Everyone definitely enjoyed their first week together and can't wait to make many more. Keep a look out for their next news story!
