Welcome Andrew

Hi I'm Andrew and I'm really excited to begin my journey as Acting Assistant Headteacher at Harry Watts Academy. 

I've taught pupils with autism for over 16 years and I'm truly passionate about supporting young people to thrive both academically and personally. I'm very much looking forward to becoming part of the Harry Watts community and getting to know the pupils, staff, and families.

Outside of school, I enjoy running, reading, and spending quality time at home with my young family. I'm also a lifelong Sunderland supporter and have been a season-ticket holder since I was a boy.

I'm delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the school and support pupils in their learning journeys.
