This week, Willow Class had a visit to Souter Lighthouse. The pupils were met by some fantastic guides, and the class had two activities that day. Their first activity was to go rock pooling, and although the weather was not the best, they really enjoyed themselves. They found lots of crabs, snails, sea anemones and butter fish. They really enjoyed lifting rocks in the pools to find them.

After lunch, Willow Class participated in geocaching. The pupils got a device in pairs and had to follow the compass and instructions to find hidden boxes. The boxes had instructions for an activity. One of the activities was to cross hands in a circle and then untangle themselves and everyone really enjoyed this. A big thank you to the guides at Souter Lighthouse, the pupils can’t wait to return.
