Souter Lighthouse

Last week, Pine Class joined Elm and Maple Class for a National Trust trip. The pupils participated in a guide-led walk, learning lots of historical facts about the area. Some of the pupils litter picked or used binoculars to spot birds along the route.

After lunch, the pupils visited the lighthouse. They listened to stories about the old lighthouse keepers jobs and families. Some of the them then walked to the top of lighthouse to see the spectacular views. It was a fabulous day.
