Working on Friction in Science

This week, Willow Class has continued working on friction in their Science lesson. Then the class could choose different items to use: carpet, tea towels, paper towels and other items.

The pupils had a ramp and a toy car and everyone took turns rolling the car down the ramp with different surfaces. The distances that the car travelled were documented, and they then compared the results to see which surface the car travelled best on and why.
