Navigating to Seaham

In preparation for their Duke of Edinburgh trip, Birch Class are practising lots of new skills. On Tuesday, the pupils took the minibus and parked up close to Seaham. From here, they had a lovely walk along the promenade and into Seaham and took turns reading maps and figuring out where they were and which way to go to reach their destination.

The pupils then took a walk up the local high street before heading back. They covered two miles and were back in school before lunch. Well done Birch Class, you are superstars!
