Amazing Science Lesson

This week in Oak Class, their Science lesson was all about friction and air resistance.

The pupils learnt all about air resistance, that it is a force that objects slow down and also learnt how friction works by pushing objects on different surfaces. They had an amazing time as they experienced the drag of air resistance as they ran on the yard as felt the air on their faces. They also discovered when holding a peace of cardboard the air resistance slowed them down.

Everyone also had great fun by making our own kites and paper planes and ran around the yard as the air resistance carried their kites into sky which was fantastic.
