Learning about Mary Seacole

Lion Class loved learning about Mary Seacole as part of their black heroes topic. The pupils learnt that she was a nurse in the Crimean War and that she used herbal remedies to heal soldiers. They made their own herbal remedies in class and then wrote a diary entry.
