A Visit to the Winter Gardens

Maple Class had the most amazing visit to the Winter Gardens in Sunderland. The class chose to go here on their class trip to see the mining exhibition. It was amazing that they were able to see the items that were there during the time.

After visiting the mining section, the pupils read the information about Sunderland in the 20th century. They even got to visit the pottery exhibit, where they spotted a jar from 1880 with one of the pupils' names on it.
